Basic Instructions

  1. Register your device on announcer.chronotrack.com (this site) by following the instructions in ChronoCast on first load.
  2. Login to the announcer.chronotrack.com site with your six character Login ID, found on Status screen of ChronoCast on your device. NOTE: You will be logged in automatically upon registration.
  3. Create and Upload your Roster to this site. See instructions on Roster Upload page for more details and sample roster files.
  4. Make sure your device has internet access. From Settings screen of ChronoCast, press Load Runners to downloaded the Roster as uploaded in previous step.
  5. Get both controller and mobile device on same local network. You may need to contact ChronoTrack Support for more help on this. Usually, what works best is to connect both controller and device to the same router or hotspot.
  6. Once connected, on the Status page, it says "Listening On". Take note of IP (disregard port :61610).
  7. On controller, change Configure->Network->Server to use the IP of the mobile Device (from last step).
  8. Connect, and start feeding tags...you should see runners appear on iPad if bib # is in roster.
  9. If you marked somebody as vip in roster, they will be certain to appear (cannot be skipped during high density) and also they will have yellow background.
